exhibitdesign CEO named to EDPA Foundation board of trustees For Immediate

Mark Bendickson, exhibitdesign CEO, has been selected by the EDPA Foundation to serve on it's board of trustees. The EDPA Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, was formed last year by the EDPA Board of Directors in order to help improve the quality of life for less fortunate industry members, to build for the future of the tradeshow industry, to attract new design talent through scholarship programs, and to provide a tax exempt method for industry members to show their support for the exhibition industry. "This is really exciting and I am honored to be part of this group" says Bendickson. "Not only do I think the FOundation is a great vehicle for an industry to give back to the people that make it strong, but I really look forward to collaborating with such a smart and energetic group of people". The full board of trustees includes; Eugene Winther, Chairman (CEO, Expon Exhibits), Rick Halvorson, Vice Chairman, (President, Freeman Exhibit), Robert Laarhoven, Treasurer, (President, Laarhoven Designs), and Mark Brauer, Secretary, (EDPA President Emeritus and Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Interlock Structures). Serving on the new EDPAF Board of Trustees, in addition to the officers, are: Stephen Barry, Jr. (CEO, TWI Group, Inc.), Bruce Baum (Executive Vice President, Mice North America), Mark Bendickson (President, Contorno Design Group, Inc.), Robbie Blumenfeld (President, Abex Displays), Alan Cordial (Principal, calan communications), Pete Gallo (CEO, Vista Color Lab, Inc.), John McGregor (Group Vice President, CORT Tradeshow Furnishings), Ray Montague (CEO, Avalon Exhibits), John Osborn (Vice President Marketing, GES Exposition Services), Pete Dicks (Executive Vice President, EDPAF and EDPA Executive Director). |
